Dave Ciesinski

Dave Ciesinski

President and Chief Executive Officer

Prior to joining The Marzetti Company in 2016, Dave was the EVP and President of Kraft’s Meal Solutions Division, which included brands like Kraft, A1 Sauce, Velveeta, Good Seasons, Bull’s-Eye and Jell-O. Prior to that, Dave spent 13 years at H.J. Heinz Company, where he held leadership roles in corporate strategy, marketing, and mergers and acquisitions. A West Point graduate, Dave is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He also earned a master’s degree in marketing and finance from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.

Tom Pigott

Chief Financial Officer

Tom joined The Marzetti Company as Chief Financial Officer in 2019. Prior to joining the organization, Tom served as the CFO of MGP Ingredients. Before becoming a public company CFO, he served in several leadership roles including business segment CFO, VP of Internal Audit, and other finance and strategy positions at Kraft Foods, Nestle USA, and Mondelez. Tom began his career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he earned his CPA accreditation. Tom received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Luis Viso

Chief Supply Chain Officer

Luis joined The Marzetti Company in 2023 as Chief Supply Chain Officer. Prior to joining Marzetti, he served as Executive Vice President of Operations for Monster Beverage. Luis also held operations leadership roles with Diamond Crystal Brands, Keurig Green Mountain, The Coca-Cola Company, and Kraft Foods. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toledo.

Tanya Berman

Tanya Berman

President, Retail

Tanya joined The Marzetti Company in 2025 as President of Retail. Prior to joining Marzetti, Tanya served as a Senior Vice President at Mondelez, leading the company’s U.S. portfolio of cookie and cracker brands. Prior to that, she held several leadership roles at Mars Wrigley, including Vice President of the Chocolate Business Unit and Senior Brand Director of M&Ms. Tanya earned her bachelor’s degree from Barnard College and an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.

Kristin Bird

Kristin Bird

President, Foodservice

In 2019, Kristin joined The Marzetti Company as President of Foodservice. Prior to joining Marzetti, she served as General Manager of Basic American Foods. Before that, Kristin was Senior Vice President of Foodservice Channel Development for Tyson Foods. She has also held roles with Hillshire Brands, Unilever, ConAgra Foods, and McCain Foods. Kristin earned her degree in political studies from Queen’s University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Liam Durbin

Liam Durbin

Chief Information Officer

Liam has served as Chief Information Officer for The Marzetti Company since 2018. Prior to joining Marzetti, he was Executive Partner at Gartner. Before that, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for American Tire Distributors. Liam has also held IT leadership roles at Heinz and GE. Liam was an Officer in the U.S. Navy for 11 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Mississippi, and a master’s degree in computer systems from the Naval Postgraduate School. Liam also earned an MBA from the Rayment A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary.

Judi Mondello

Judi Mondello

Chief Research, Development, and Quality Officer

In 2025, Judi joined The Marzetti Company as Chief Research, Development and Quality Officer. Prior to joining Marzetti, she was Senior Vice President of R&D for the Meals and Beverage Division at Campbell Soup Company, where she led the R&D team that supports the soup, broth, sauce, pasta, frozen meals and beverage business unit. Prior to that, she spent 16 years at J.M. Smucker Company in R&D leadership roles across the company’s Consumer Foods, Away from Home, Strategic Innovation, and Baking segments. Judi earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Southeast Missouri State University and an MBA from Walsh University.

Helena Josue

Chief Human Resources Officer

Helena joined The Marzetti Company in 2022 as Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to joining Marzetti, she served as Vice President of Human Resources at The Wendy’s Company. Prior to that, Helena spent 17 years at Procter & Gamble in various HR leadership roles. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Portugal.

Matt Shurte

Matt Shurte

General Counsel

Matt has served as General Counsel and Secretary of The Marzetti Company since 2006. Prior to joining Marzetti, he was an Associate at Jones Day where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, securities law, and corporate governance. Matt earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his law degree from Tulane University Law School.
