September is Hunger Action Month, a nationwide effort led by Feeding America to raise awareness and inspire action to end hunger.
Guided by our purpose to nourish growth with all that we do, The Marzetti Company supports nonprofit organizations that are creating a future where fewer families face hunger. Through financial contributions, product donations and employee volunteerism, we’re helping our communities build healthier futures.
This year, Marzetti has invested in hunger-relief initiatives, supporting programs that meet people where they are – from local food banks and school-based pantries to weekend meal programs.
Employees have also rolled up their sleeves to make a difference. In Central Ohio, Marzetti team members have contributed volunteer hours to package and serve thousands of meals through organizations including Children’s Hunger Alliance, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Mid-Ohio Food Collective and more.
Each of these efforts looks a little different, but they share a common goal: helping make good food more accessible to more people.
